This is made to produce a linear array of 20 beams very close to each other, but not in a single beam. This array was scanned with a Polygon Scanner and focused to a plane with an F-Theta lens. Those parts have been removed from these assemblies The optics are all coated specifically for use at 405nm so the lenses are low loss and the mirrors are highly reflective.

Each of the 20 diode modules includes. High-power, multi-mode 405nm laser diode. Molded glass aspheric collimating lens likely made by Geltech®, similar to the popular G-2. AR coated glass block that can be rotated by a tiny stepper motor to shift the beam left/right by a few mm.
